Be happy, while being a servant!

"Those that can serve others, are the only true rulers"
We must remember that we need to lift eachother up! if we can't even do minor things with our friends, like go with them to the bathroom when they ask you to, you will never be able to serve them with big trials in their lives...
so, the next time someone asks you to help them, go with them, or simply just talk to them, remember to be a servant to them, and say YES!
be a delight to those around you, not a hindrance!!

amelia

Be true

No matter what, the worst feeling is to be decieved..
That feels awful, when someone gives you a false impression of what they really think of you.
Be true to others, and to yourself!

Every friendship has a Season

When someone first told me that every friendship has a season, the first feeling I had was relief. Growing up in a Christian home, going to a Christian school, and basically around other Christians 24-7, I found myself believing that everyone has to be my friend, just because they are a Christian.
This is not so..In fact, God tells us, that friends aren't supposed to be just other Christians, he wants you to reach out to others, and be a light to the world.
Just because you go to the same church and school with someone, doesnt mean that you need to be their friend. Now remember, always be friendly, but you are never forced into a friendship. There is a big difference between being friendly to your classmates and being friends with them.
I used to struggle with this concept. I used to find myself in a bad relationship, simply because the person called themself a Christian! How foolish that is for me to do!! Just because someone calls them self a Christian, doesn't automatically make them a good influence on your walk with Christ!
I learned, in the last few months, that other christians can have a negative outlook on life, and you need to be cautious when planning on building a relationship with someone.
I know its hard to break off a friendship, but remember one thing, Would God want you in an unhealthy, broken down relationship with someone that acts as a tyrant to you, simply because they call themself a Christian?
The answer is no! get out of messy, friendships, but always remember to show Christ to that individual, no matter what.. Be friendly, even if you cant be friends!
With God's loving mercy,
Amelia

The Innocence of a Child

Somewhere between make believe and reality, we lost the simplicity of innocence. You have probably noticed the adorable pictures of babies on my blog, I want you to see from this that God is our Father, and we can always go to Him-no matter what!
We are never to old to sit on our True and Holy Father's Lap!!

Don't let your Friends Drag you Away From Christ

Usually, if you're friends are strong believers in their faith, you probably will be too. Likewise, if you have friends that do not care about any Christian morals or beliefs, then you will slowly sink into that kind of lifestyle as well.
It is our duty as Believers to have friends that are firm believers and strong in their faith. I am not saying that all your friends must be Christians, no that would not be correct. You should have non-believers as friends so that you witness to them. We must always remember that we to be a strong influence of the Lord to our friends and family.

About Me

Hi, I go to a christian school and I want others to learn and know about God. The Bible isn't supposed to be boring, it is exciting and intense, you just need to have the right perspective, and that's what I'm trying to help you with, with this blog. Enjoy!

On Fire For My Savior

It doesn't matter how much you know about God.
It matters what you do with what you know in the actions you take every day.
